Temporary Therapist at Nämndemansgården Rehab Center in Umeå

Do you want to help develop our treatment for individuals with addiction issues? We are currently seeking a temporary therapist for Nämndemansgården Rehab Center in Umeå to assist us during the summer.

We focus on adult men and women who have developed an addiction to alcohol and/or drugs.

The Rehab Center in Umeå is part of Nämndemansgården and Feelgood's specialist area of Harmful Use, which assists companies, individuals, and social services throughout Sweden with preventive measures, assessments, and treatment for risky use, harmful use, or addiction. Feelgood's culture and work community are characterized by a positive attitude, innovation, a holistic view, and a strong desire to achieve good results.

We are looking for a temporary therapist who wants to help develop our individualized treatment. You will be a key person for the quality of the treatment and work together with colleagues in a small on-site team with the client in focus. As a temporary therapist, you will be responsible for ensuring that group therapy is conducted according to our routines and that each individual's treatment progresses as planned. You will also be responsible for delivering lectures included in the treatment and ensuring proper documentation.

We offer an individualized treatment based on the initial assessment. Like other treatments at Nämndemansgården, these programs are based on well-established treatment methods. We work with both twelve-step-based interventions, psychotherapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and MI (Motivational Interviewing), so we prefer candidates with training and/or experience in these areas. You should have experience leading groups and be able to work independently while also fostering a strong team spirit.

We are looking for someone who:

  • is an educated treatment pedagogue or has equivalent education
  • has at least 4 years of experience in treating risky use, harmful use, or addiction
  • is professional, attentive, independent, responsible, and enjoys learning new things
  • has a good ability to build relationships and a deep understanding of processes related to addiction
  • is curious, creative, and places a strong emphasis on relationship building

Scope: Hourly as needed. If you have questions, please contact site manager Christina Larsson at 070 814 69 51.

If you have questions: contact Christina Larsson at christina.larsson@namndemansgarden.se

Welcome with your application; selection and interviews will be ongoing.
